Video: HomeMatters
What does home mean to you?
Home matters to us all in different ways. So in March this year, we commissioned Allround Cleaning Services team to carry out a research, to help us explore the different ways home and it’s many meanings matter to Nigeria.
We asked lots of people from various part across Nigeria especially Lagos. to tell us, in their own words, what home means to them.
This is just a snapshot of some of the fascinating things people told us.
“Our home is a reflection of the real us, so the shape of what we really are as a person reflects on our home, because that's our real dwelling place” – Adedotun
“It means a place where I don’t have to keep up my walls, it does that for me. I get to fall apart and pick myself up and let my hair down” – Elizabeth
“It’s the place I’ve lived in the longest, in my adult life, so it feels the most like home to me. However, looking forward to moving soon which I'd be creating home in a new place.” – Olawale.
“It’s a place of safety and rest for our family. It’s a source of pride and the result of hard work.” – Tokunbo
“Home is a place where one's free from all boundaries!” – Ruth
